Identification and Validation of Drug Targets in Klebsiella Species (2026-2029)
Integrating microbiology and industrial drug discovery to identify therapeutic targets against resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Status:
Ongoing
Objective
This project integrates microbiology and industrial drug discovery to identify novel therapeutic targets against antimicrobial-resistant and hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae. By screening compounds under infection-like conditions, we aim to discover and optimize potential drug targets effective even in dormant bacterial states.
